CEDAR SPRINGS CLUB GIRLS
TO BUY STRAWBERRY PLANTS

Ninety-Seven Per Cent of Members
Present at Meeting on
Armistice Day

To the Democrat:

The Cedar Springs 4-H Club girls sponsored a program for the purpose of buying strawberry plants for the club.  It was held at the school building November 11.
The program consisted of the following:
       Song -- Everyone
"I am a Farm Girl" -- Finnie Wooten.
       "A Poem" -- Velma Barganier.
"Whoa Mule, Whoa" -- By five girls.
       "A Poem" -- Velma Barganier.
"Miss Popualrity" (sic) -- Eunice, Marietta, Allen, Cecile, Earl and Buddie.
       "Abie" -- Johnie and Cecil
       A stunt -- Otto Denton.
After the program, we sold cake and pecans.  We made $2.42 in all.
We had our regular club meeting.  There was 97 per cent membership here.  We enrolled three new members.  They seem to be greatly interested in the work.
